Many eons ago, someone—I suspect nuns—made you hate writing. But what if you found a writing course that empowered and inspired you? A simple, revolutionary approach to improving and befriending
your writing?
The Galloping Muse uses four pillars—the universe, the muse, red/green/yellow, and the writer’s process – to teach the art of writing based on the simple concepts of energy and vibration.
This four-part series is for everyday people, corporations, ad agencies, brands, insane asylums, and large treehouses functioning as sovereign nations.
COURSE OUTLINE
Class One: The Universe
You are not just entering a course. You are entering a universe, where space is sacred, where writing is an exchange of energy, where vibration is king, and the metaphor always wins, you’ll be introduced to Green, Yellow and Red theory of great writing (Pillar II) Story (Pillar III) and The Writer’s Process and Dingo Writer’s Tricks (Pillar IV) you’ll be introduced to the rules of the universe (rules are fun here) and you’ll be sent off to find a muse, if your muse has not already found you.
Class Two: Green Light Red Light Yellow Light
This is the heart of the toolbox of The Wandering Muse program. Writing is an exchange of energy. Green is high energy. Red is low energy. Yellow is somewhere in between. You’ll see examples of each, and you will be entertained, so help me God. By the end of this hour, the light will come on. That switch that shows you distinctively how to look at writing in a whole new way, and take your own writing to the next level.
Class Three: The Story
A lot of books on writing make stories sound difficult. I want to make storytelling easy for you. So I show you how easy it is. And I show you the flow of energy. Most stories move from a low to a high vibration. Good stories are medicine for both the reader and the writer. And the doctor is in! That’s me!
Class Four: The Process
There are ways to write faster and with more confidence. You see, you might be using a low vibration formula. I will show you a better one that will leave you more mentally healthy, and also introduce you to some of my own secret writing hacks and advice. Then the course will be over, and you will be sad. But who knows, maybe there will be a Galloping Muse sequel! Sequels rock unless you are talking Bad Santa 2 or Mall Cop 2. Also Teen Wolf.
90-Minute Course
The 90 minute course is a condensation of the first two classes and an excellent way to enter the universe of The Galloping Muse. You’ll learn about finding a muse, the power of metaphor, the importance of vibration and the essential tool known as “Green Red Yellow.” Includes an interactive class writing assignment and a certificate of completion.

Once there was a writer named Kathy. She published these books, one of which (The Book of Polly) was optioned by Amazon and was Costco’s National Book of the Month.) And she had a vibrant career in the ad world. Then came tribulation. A worldwide pandemic, and her favorite cat died, leaving the asshole. How to navigate in this new world? With a course. A magical, practical course that takes all her secrets and gives them to others. And a horse. A magical, practical horse named Clyde.
The Galloping Muse was born. In a manger, just like Jesus. Okay not really. People, she noticed, were really passionate about this course. They came alive. They found their creative spirits again. Lucky for you, it’s not a drawing class. Also I can draw a better chicken. Why should I write better when a machine can do it for me?
Because actually no one can do it for you, because your voice is unique among all the people on earth. Siri never petted a horse’s neck. Alexa has never been ghosted by the captain of the football team. But you have lived, your heart is beating, you have suffered, and you have something important to say. It’s a human’s job, to use words, and whatever job you give to a machine, that part of your brain goes dark. Maybe it’s worth it when it comes to remembering phone numbers and directions, but when that part of your brain that uses words goes dark, that’s a vast area that’s very close to your soul. Don’t let some internet platform convince you that what you have to say and create isn’t worthwhile. Words are the echo of your soul. Honing that echo matters.
